Northwest Haiti Christian Mission respects the privacy of its donors and ministry partners.
NWHCM collects and uses personal contact information such as name, address, telephone number, and email address when a donor voluntarily provides it to us. This information is kept on file for IRS purposes and is also used to build and strengthen relationships through the sharing of stories and other communication. We do not sell, trade, or share donor names or personal information with any other organization. We also never send out mailings on behalf of other organizations.
We use contact information of our donors and partners solely for the following purposes:
- Distribute receipts for donations
- Thank donors for their donation
- Inform donors and others about upcoming NWHCM activities and events
- Internal analysis and record keeping
- Report to relevant U.S. and state agencies as required
All access to donor financial information is strictly limited to those who need to process it. NWHCM uses secure, encrypted and authenticated online payment processing services.
Privacy Policy Regarding Travel Gifts
Due to our responsibility to protect donor privacy, NWHCM cannot give information about specific donations to any other individual.
For travelers on short-term mission trips, we can provide a running total of trip balances. We cannot give specifics on givers or amounts given. All donors will receive a printed receipt or eReceipt within two weeks of making their gift. For trip supporters who are concerned whether their gift was received and credited to a particular trip, please personally contact our office at (502) 695-7870.
We recommend that travelers send thank-you letters after their trip to everyone who received support letters from them. This way, traveler can be sure to thank all those who supported their mission trip, whether in prayer or finances.
