The hope of a future
The mandate of James 1:27 is clear: “Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.”
NWHCM’s programs to care for the elderly are born from the belief that, too often, we limit our definition of the word “orphan” to include only children, while abandoned seniors are left to fend for themselves.
When offering the hope of a fulfilled life, we don’t believe in age discrimination.
The mission’s gran moun home is funded primarily through sponsorships by individuals in North America. For $75 a month, a senior in our program receives free medical care, food, and the security and protection of watchful staff.
Sponsorships are what allow us to continue reclaiming the golden years for elderly Haitians. To learn more about how you can get involved, visit our website at www.nwhcm.org.
