NWHCM Doctrinal Statement (Please Read)

The Bible is God's Word to us and is the foundation upon which we base our beliefs.
Jesus Christ is the only way to reach God the Father.
Jesus is the Son of God, and He came to Earth to save lost souls.
All people have sinned, and the punishment for sin is Hell. However, Christ died for our sins so that we may be saved.
A person can be saved from sin and death by believing in Jesus Christ, repenting of their sins, being baptized by immersion, and making Jesus Lord of their life. In doing so, their sins are forgiven and they receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Accepting the gift of salvation through Christ is only the beginning. The journey continues in a daily walk with the Lord and in joining a church of other believers in Jesus Christ.
