Who?

Robert and Madame Robert, Head Parents
More than 125 children, ages 3 to 19. Most come from the Northwest department of Haiti, towns like Jean Rabel and La Pointe, Bassin Bleu and Saint Louis du Nord. But some come from Port-au-Prince and beyond. They have come to us for a variety of reasons; the death of one or both parents, debilitating family illness, families unable to provide for all their children, and in some cases, simple abandonment without explanation. Whatever the reason, Northwest Haiti Christian Mission is committed to providing a safe, loving home for these children where they can experience the love of Jesus first-hand.
What?
Children are cared for by loving houseparents, providing a safe home, food, clothing, schooling and medical care.
When?
Northwest Haiti Christian Mission opened this facility in October of 2008, as a replacement for the previous home in the city of Port-de-Paix. That home was opened more than thirty years ago and its graduates have become pastors, doctors, teachers, medical technicians, mechanics, interpreters, artists, tailors, accountants and successful businessmen and women. NWHCM is blessed to work with many of these individuals now as employees and partners.
Where?
Saline Mayette, Haiti is a small town a few miles beyond Beauchamp, where NWHCM missionaries Mike and Teresa Grant live.
