The Far West mission has built three buildings here so far: Ms. Pat's home/clinic, a school and another residence.

Ms. Pat’s building is not only her residence, but facilitates a free medical clinic and feeding and nutrition program for the elderly and the school students. People from the village begin to arrive at sunrise. Usually there is about 20 people or so. Ms. Pat is able to close the clinic around 10 am to get ready for lunch.

The gran moun begin to arrive around noon and await lunch. Lunch is usually served at 2:00 p.m.

The other residence is occupied by Michle and his family. Michle assists and supports Ms. Pat with her daily routines. He has been a huge help! Michle and his wife have 2 children who attend the school. Michle enjoys meeting people and has really grown some relationships in the village this past year.

The school now supports about 25 students from the surrounding village. The teacher is named Maxi. He was actually raised in the orphanage in Port de Paix. The children receive schooling daily and are now provided daily snacks and meals.

These children are in need of sponsorships. Sponsors provide $25 per month toward the costs of feeding, clothing, and educating a needy child.
